Leader Module 11 is up for grab!
A step towards becoming a LEADER
Early Leaders' Student's Corner provides every student an opportunity to mold themselves as a leader. The platform helps one to test their knowledge, learn new skills, and practice various leadership and life lessons. It's fun, challenging, and transforming.
Have you ever wondered why you have to read history or do that differentiation when most of your seniors are unable to answer why you read all this stuff? If you have nodded your head with YES, well, we have an answer for you.
It is actually for your Mental Development*.
Still wondering, how it can be? How would Mohammad Lodi or Pythagoras Theorem help you with your mental development?
Yes, you will have many questions like this and you are free to show your denial but believe us that whatever you are reading today is just preparing you for a future leader in you. Whatever you learn at school, nothing goes to waste. One thing to understand here is that no knowledge is a waste knowledge. It either helps an individual become a better version of herself or himself or is transferred into something meaningful in the form of an action, an initiative, or a thought.
The whole idea behind our education is to build hard skills in us but in due process, it also gives valuable life skills & abilities that are much more important in anyone’s life for survival & growth. Every experience or education teaches us some intricate soft skills, if not hard skills. Therefore, there is learning in everything. It all depends on what & how you want to gain from it.**
Education is not just about scoring marks, it is about asking questions (right or wrong, doesn’t matter) and trying hard to find answers for them, it is about preparing your mind for the uncertain and complex life problems & situations, and it is about using your knowledge to better your or someone else’s life & help make the world a better place to live in. In short, it is about becoming a leader.
So are you ready to be a Leader?
*involves Critical Thinking, Problem-solving, and Decision-making
**Note: While reading a chapter in history, try to visualize yourself in that era or as some historical character (king, queen, or any other character) and then ask yourself - How differently would you have dealt with the situation? This will introduce you to the problem in a more comprehensible way.
If you are reading science, then ask yourself - In how many different ways could you solve the given problem that uses the least amount of resources and could be finished faster than any other processes taken otherwise? This way you will be preparing your mind to look for different options and choosing among the best.

You are a LEADER. You have been born to lead, to solve societal problems, to bring a change in society, to make the world a better place to live in, and to build a community of like-minded people. Leaders, like you, are driven by the right motivation and always support what’s right and fight for the weak.
A leader is not someone who just leads a crowd, she or he drives the strength of the people with her or his actions & thoughts, and makes a positive impact on the people around them. A leader, like you, has a futuristic vision and guides people towards achieving that vision. You are someone who can see how things can improve and work harder to achieve that goal. A leader works towards making their vision a reality while putting people first.
"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more - you are a LEADER."
A 10-point summary of what it takes to be a leader*:

Yes, like any other skill, Leadership is also a skill and can be acquired through learning and practice with continuous improvement. Remember, Leaders are made rather than born.
Important life skills are – Effective Communication, Interpersonal Relationship, Self-awareness, Empathy, Creative Thinking, Critical Thinking, Problem-solving, Decision-making, Financial literacy, Negotiation skill, Time-management skill, Technology skill, Cooperation, Ability to accept constructive criticism, among others.
Practicing these skills is an integral part of becoming a leader. Being a leader is a process of knowing about yourself, what you are capable of, and what you can do for others.
‘Why not? Why should I not?’ – you will get the answer if you ask this question to yourself, and if you are reading this you have already taken the first step to becoming a leader. Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Mahatama Gandhi, Elon Musk, and Mark Zuckerberg are introverts and are great leaders. Inspiring, right?
You being an introvert or an extrovert has nothing to do with leadership. As we said earlier, Leaders inspire others to do things that they never thought would do. Leadership is about solving problems and making decisions. Therefore, you are a leader if you have a strong belief in your skills and abilities & a strong dedication towards learning the above-mentioned skills.
