History of science in United Kingdom  dateds far back as the 12th century but we are focusing on the 17th century. United Kingdom has produced major scientist in major fields of study in science and technology which includes aerospace,motor, and pharmaceutical industries. Some of the famous scientists are Sir. Isaac Newton who invented the world's first electric generator, Charles Darwin whose theory of evolution by natural selection was fundamental to the development of modern biology.
