EAP Young Scholar Award Announcement
To nurture academic talents in pragmatics, East Asian Pragmatics (EAP) welcomes young scholars attending the 3rd East Asian Pragmatics Conference (EAPC 2026) to apply for the EAP Young Scholar Award.
· Applicants should be under 35 years old who are giving a single-authored or first-authored presentation.
· The application should include a full-length anonymous English paper dedicated to an East Asian pragmatics-related theme, as well as a bio-note of no more than 500 words as a separate file.
A committee of 3 academics will evaluate the papers. The authors of the 3 best submissions will be awarded three-year free access to EAP. A certificate of the award will be conferred at the closing ceremony of the conference.
The application letter needs to be mailed to the conference email address (eapc2026@gmail.com) with the submitted paper and a bio-note attached prior to June 15, 2026, under the heading “Award application”.
