System ("the System") consists of ASAP application and EPAS application.
ASAP application (“the Application”) is developed by TELEASIST a.s. and is a general application for assistance services, used by partners and employees of insurance and assistance service companies. The Application is available only for authorized users – users must have a registered phone number within the company’s system. Registration can be canceled, and access revoked, within the system. It allows track assistances and support vehicles when they are activated for intervention and provide information for intervention. When there is client who has problem with its car near the closest vehicle for intervention is found and proper information are send to the Application. Vehicle is tracked to provide data for settlement. Also there are provided data which documents intervention.
EPAS application ("the Traffic system") is also developed by TELEASIST a.s. and works in coordination with the ASAP application. It is a web application used by employees of partner companies to support vehicle assistance services. The Traffic system uses data from the ASAP application to locate the nearest suitable vehicle because it knows the positions of all activated vehicles.
The application share data only with our system EPAS and with Firebase services from Google. We will not share your personal information with any other third parties without your consent and we do not sell any information from the System. Data are used only for main intent - simplify the work of the assistance services.
This Application collects location data which are used in the Traffic system for finding the nearest towing vehicle and route length evaluation. This information could be collected even when the Application is minimized, closed or not in use. For these feature, there is component of Android which called Foreground service. It is capable to grab location of your device even app is minimalized or closed, but it always shows in Notification tray when is running. So you always know that "part" of the Application running in the background and can collect device positions. This is necessarily for the Application because it is the core of the whole application. We cannot provide the same service (location watching) without location access in the background of the Application. Driver activates car at the beginning of his working ours a has been monitored since then. After working hours he deactivates car in the Application and stops the monitoring of his location.
We take several measures to safeguard the collection, transmission and storage of the data we collect. We use adequate protection for your information, which corresponds to its sensitivity. The Application uses industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to allow for the encryption of personal information.
User phone number - is collected for registration purpose, identify user in our system and analyze debugging protocols. Phone number is in the Application stored in local persistence memory
Partner vehicles – a list of partner vehicles is downloaded based on registration provided by the company’s system. Stored locally in the Application database
Tracking data – when one or more vehicles are activated then location data are stored in the Application local database and sent to server to allow find closest vehicle and for cost calculation. There are kept based on its usage (if they are used for settlement or not)
Photos – user can be asked to take few photos to document intervention (vehicle state or incident place). Those data are stored in the Application local database and sent to server where there are store as evidence. Photos are not deleted from phone because they can be used by driver. There are kept in system based on its usage (if they are used for evidence/settlement or not)
Device information – device informations is collected to allow application tuning
Phone calls – there is possibility to start phone application and pre-fill it by phone number provided by application (call center or client)
User email – is collected only for diagnostic contact purposes if you provide it during the diagnostic submission. We will not store the email anywhere else
