Hi, I’m Charmele Thomas, the founder of Eagle in Flight Tutoring, where we believe every child can soar academically with the right support. With a background in education and leadership, I bring over five years of experience helping students in grades K–6 excel in reading, writing, and math.

I am a former Director at Sylvan Learning Center and an EC Department Chair and Special Education Teacher with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. These roles allowed me to master personalized learning strategies, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and create data-driven plans that lead to measurable student growth.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, a North Carolina teaching certification in Special Education – General Curriculum, and training in Orton-Gillingham reading intervention, making me well-equipped to support diverse learning needs.
