Summary

Eagle Image Stacker is designed to process your images on your device. Based on the current app implementation:

Your images and project data remain on your device unless you choose to export, share, save to Photos, store through Apple services such as iCloud Photos or iCloud Drive, or send files to someone else using iOS sharing features.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect personal information from the app, such as your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, advertising identifier, browsing history, or account credentials.

We do not collect your photos, RAW files, processed images, masks, regions of interest, calibration files, or stacking results.

We do not sell personal information.

Photos, RAW Files, and Image Processing

When you select images from Photos or Files, Eagle Image Stacker uses those selected files for features such as:

These operations are performed locally on your device. The app may copy selected files into its app storage so it can process them, show previews, cache decoded TIFF files, and generate output images.

If your selected files are stored in iCloud Photos, iCloud Drive, or another Apple or third-party file provider, iOS may download those files to your device so the app can access them. That download is handled by the operating system or file provider, not by a developer-operated Eagle Image Stacker server.

Camera Access

The app asks for camera access so you can capture photos, including RAW, DNG, Apple ProRAW, JPEG, and HEIF captures where supported by your device.

Camera access is used only for capture features inside the app. Captured files are processed locally. If you enable saving to Photos, the app asks iOS to save the captured image to your Photos library.

Photo Library Access

The app may ask for access to your Photos library for two purposes:

The app only uses Photos access for these image workflows. It does not upload your Photos library to us.

Files and Local Storage

Eagle Image Stacker stores app data locally on your device. This may include:

Some settings are stored using iOS UserDefaults. Some entitlement or trial-related state may be stored in the iOS Keychain. These are local device storage mechanisms.

You can remove app-local files by deleting them from within the app where controls are available, clearing caches where the app provides that option, or deleting the app from your device.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Eagle Image Stacker offers Apple-managed in-app purchases, including recurring subscriptions and a lifetime unlock.

Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive or store your full payment card number or Apple ID password. The app reads Apple-verified purchase entitlement information so it can unlock paid features and restore purchases.

Apple may process purchase, subscription, refund, tax, and billing information under Apple's own privacy policies and App Store terms.

Third-Party Libraries

The app includes third-party image-processing libraries, such as RAW and computer vision libraries, to provide decoding, alignment, calibration, and export functionality. These libraries run inside the app for local processing. The current app implementation does not use them to send your image files to a developer-operated server.

The app may include links to third-party websites for open-source license notices. Opening those links leaves the app and is subject to the privacy practices of the destination website.

Diagnostics

iOS may create device diagnostics, crash reports, or logs depending on your device settings and Apple's systems. Eagle Image Stacker does not include a separate third-party crash reporting or analytics service in the current app implementation.

If you contact support, you may choose to send screenshots, files, logs, or other details. We will use that information only to respond to your request, troubleshoot the issue, and improve the app.

Children

Eagle Image Stacker is not designed to collect personal information from children. Because the app does not require an account and does not collect personal information through a developer-operated service, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Choices

You can control app permissions in iOS Settings:

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in the App Store or iOS Settings under your Apple ID subscriptions.

You can delete app-local data by deleting the app from your device. Deleting the app may remove files stored only inside the app's local container.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes or when legal, platform, or operational requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when this policy was last updated.
