What Eagle Image Stacker Does
Eagle Image Stacker is an iPhone app for astronomy image workflows, including:
RAW, DNG, and standard image import
Camera capture where supported by the device
Astro stacking
Planet and Moon stacking
RAW conversion
Alignment analysis tools
Calibration tools
Mask and ROI tools
Export to Files or Photos
Supported Devices
Eagle Image Stacker requires iOS 18.0 or later and is configured as an iPhone-only app.
Supported installation starts with iPhone models that can run iOS 18, including iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, and iPhone SE 2nd generation or later.
There is no fixed maximum supported iPhone model. Current and future iPhones that can run the required iOS version should be eligible, subject to App Store compatibility and hardware capabilities.
RAW, DNG, Apple ProRAW, manual camera controls, and lens options vary by iPhone model.
Privacy
Eagle Image Stacker is designed for local image processing. The app does not require an account, does not use ads, and does not upload your images to a developer-operated server in the current implementation.

Purchases and Subscriptions
Eagle Image Stacker may offer a monthly subscription, annual subscription, and lifetime unlock through Apple in-app purchase.

Purchases are managed by Apple. To manage or cancel a subscription:
Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Tap your Apple ID name.
Tap Subscriptions.
Select Eagle Image Stacker.
Manage or cancel the subscription.

Restore Purchases
If paid features are not unlocked after reinstalling the app or changing devices, use the app's Restore Purchases option. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the purchase.
Camera or Photos Permission Problems
If camera capture or photo import/export does not work:
Open iOS Settings.
Find Eagle Image Stacker.
Confirm Camera access is enabled if you want to capture images.
Confirm Photos access is enabled for the image workflows you want to use.
Reopen the app and try again.
Import or Processing Problems
If a file cannot be imported or processed:
Confirm the file is fully downloaded to your device if it is stored in iCloud Drive, iCloud Photos, or another file provider.
Confirm the file format is supported by the selected workflow.
Try processing a smaller batch if the device is low on storage or memory.
Keep original files backed up before deleting app-local copies or outputs.
