Overview

The EAGC 2025 is a five-day conference with the theme "Pataas ug Padayon: Sovereign God in Uncertain Times". It will feature Bible Expositions based on the book of Esther. There will also be plenary sessions tackling the Sovereignty of God in vocation, in the digital world, and in social justice.

EAGC 2025 aims to bring together Christian Graduates from different East Asian IFES movements for fellowship, learning and sharing vision on marketplace industry.

EAGC 2025 provides an avenue to address the issues that graduates face in daily life, whether at work, at home, in society or in the church, through Small Group Fellowships, Bible expositions, workshops, fun time and worship experience.

Pataas ug Padayon: Sovereign God in Uncertain Times

“Pataas”, meaning “upward” in English, underscores the imperative of directing our unwavering focus towards God, relying on Him resolutely, especially when faced with life’s uncertainties. It encourages us to put our trust in God alone. 

 “Padayon”, translated as “Onward” in English, calls for an active commitment to advancing the Kingdom of God across the different pillars of our society. It encourages us to persevere and take a proactive role in building the Kingdom of God in the various spheres to which we, the Christian graduates, belong.

The logo depicts a "banca" or sailboat. The Philippines, being an archipelago, is surrounded by aquatic resources that remain to be a major source of livelihood for many locals. Yellow, red and blue represent the colors of the Philippine flag.

The sailboat represents God’s children journeying together in these uncertain times. In  Mark 4:35-41, Jesus was in the sailboat when He calmed the storm. When the waves are rising and the wind is blowing strong, we are reminded that the Lord is with us, sovereign and always in control.
