Summary of Opportunity:
Become an EAPOST Scholar and receive support to implement a module (1-2 class periods) in your classroom. As a scholar, you will gain access to ready-to-use materials, personalized guidance, and a $250 stipend for your participation.
Program Details:
Choose a Module
Select a teaching module from the following options:
a) Introductory to Statistical Investigations (Wiley textbook)
b) Intermediate Statistical Investigations (Wiley textbook),
c) Free introductory investigations with biology contexts,
d) Free online materials that Beth Chance has developed (Link 1, Link 2, Link 3),
e) Free introductory statistics lessons about diversity, equity, and justice topics developed by Laura Callis (Link), or
f) Other content/materials developed by our team, including resources you may already plan to use this spring
Attend a Workshop
Join a 75-minute online workshop in February 2025 (date/time TBD) to review the module in detail and prepare to teach it. Additional support will be available after the workshop through office hours with our team. Take a short survey.
Implement the Module
Teach the module in your classroom during March/April 2025 with the support of your mentor. You should anticipate spending a few hours adapting the module and a couple of additional hours meeting with your mentor.
Share Your Experience
Participate as a panelist in a 60-minute webinar in April/May 2025 (date/time TBD) alongside other educators. Share insights about your implementation experience. Take a short survey.
Receive Your Stipend
Scholars who fully participate will receive a $250 stipend in May 2025.

Spaces are limited, and participants will be selected based on their module of interest and the timing of their application (first-come, first-served within module).
