Group Global Project

For this project we had to pick a place outside of the U.S.A. to research and create a document organizing the research. After we complete the document, we find a partner to make a power point presentation with. In this presentation we are going to compare and contrast the locations we picked for our document. I chose New Zealand for my location. My partner chose Australia for his location.

• New Zealand has indigenous people called Māori.

• The Māori call New Zealand "Aotearoa" (the "Land of the long white cloud.")

• Some New Zealanders call themselves Kiwis after their national bird. 

• Since New Zealand is in the southern hemisphere it has opposite seasons to us in the U.S.A.
