Acknowledgements

Student teaching this semester would have been impossible if it was not for the support I received from my school, professors, and mentors. First, I’d like to thank Phil Spellane, my mentor teacher. I was lucky to have the opportunity to learn from an experienced, passionate educator. Even during these unprecedented times, he was able to teach me so much about working with students and being an effective teacher. Next I’d like to thank Shari Weaver and Jacklyn Bonneau for their support throughout this experience. Their love of teaching inspires me, and their invaluable advice, expertise, feedback, and support helped me grow over the course of this practicum. Lastly, I'd like to acknowledge Worcester Polytechnic Institute and specifically WPI’s Teacher Preparation Program. Without this school and this special program, I wouldn’t have had the chance to start doing what I love.
