Giovenale Moirano
Tenure-track researcher (RTT) at the Department of Medical Sciences, University of Turin, and medical specialist at the Cancer Epidemiology Unit of the Città della Salute e della Scienza University Hospital in Turin. After graduating in Medicine in 2017, he completed a PhD focusing on the impact of climate change on infectious disease transmission. In 2021, he began a residency program in Health Statistics at the University of Turin, further developing his expertise in the design and analysis of epidemiological studies. Throughout his training and subsequent research career, he has gained experience at institutions across various international settings—including the UK, Kenya, The Gambia, and Spain—building skills in environmental epidemiology and the study of the relationships between environmental exposures, climate change, and health.
