Call to Worship

L: Come, let us bow down in worship,

P: let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;
L: for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture,
P: the flock under his care.
L: Father, you are our creator and sustainer.
P: We are yours and we worship you!

RESPONSIVE PSALM (led by Pastor) Psalm 27

L: The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear?

P: The Lord is my life’s refuge; of whom shall I be afraid? 

L: One thing I ask of the Lord, this I seek:
  To dwell in the house  of the Lord all the days of my life.

P: That I may gaze on the loveliness of the Lord and contemplate his temple.

L: I believe that I shall see the bounty of the Lord in the land of the living.

P: Wait for the Lord with courage;

    be stouthearted,  and wait for the Lord. Amen

L:  The Lord be with you.
P:  And also with you.

 LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father who art in heaven, 

Hallowed be thy Name, 

Thy Kingdom come, 

Thy will be done

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day, our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, 

as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, 

but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom

and the power and the glory forever.
