Call to Worship

L: As we gather, let us come together as people of the cross and resurrection.

P: We come as children of the Father

L: We are reconciled by grace through the Son

P: And filled with God’s love through the Spirit. Amen 

RESPONSIVE PSALM (led by Pastor) Psalm 40:1-3

L: I waited patiently for the Lord;
P: he turned to me and heard my cry.

L: He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
P: and out of the mud and mire;

L: he set my feet on a rock
P:and gave me a firm place to stand.

L: He put a new song in my mouth,
P: a hymn of praise to our God.

L: Many will see and fear the Lord
P: and put their trust in him.

L:  The Lord be with you
P: And also with you

L: The Lord be with you.
P: And also with you.

 LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father who art in heaven, 

Hallowed be thy Name, 

Thy Kingdom come, 

Thy will be done

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day, our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, 

as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, 

but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom

and the power and the glory forever.
