Scroggin (Summer 2021) is a simple 2D puzzle game.
Built on Phaser 3 Engine.
Scroggin is a 2D puzzle game with aesthetic elements of Collecting, Challenge, and Exploration/Curiosity for an enjoyable pastime. The playable character is a Scout who is hiking and exploring in the vast and confusing Forever Woods. The Forever Woods provides plenty of obstacles, but also provides the player the tools to overcome them if the player can learn how to use these tools. Through trial and error, the player is expected to figure out how and when to use these tools. No score is kept; instead, new records are being added to the Journal as the game evolves, facilitating usage of tools in the future and creating a balance between Challenge and Exploration aesthetics.
