I received my Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Siena (a consortium with the University of Florence and the University of Pisa), Italy.

My doctoral work applies economic reasoning to the ethics of artificial intelligence, using autonomous vehicles (AVs) as a setting to address ethical issues arising from pedestrian-AV interaction.
