The Dynamic Walking organizers welcome you to the beautiful and historic city of Aachen, situated at the crossroads of Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
Once named Aquae granni by the Romans for its healing thermal springs, Aachen rose to prominence under Charlemagne, becoming a vital political and cultural center of Europe. Today, the city boasts a vibrant student population and a unique international character.
Be sure to stroll through the picturesque city center and to visit the awe-inspiring Aachen Cathedral—a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The conference will take place at two main locations in Aachen: At the Super-C in the city center (Monday and Tuesday), and at the Institute of Automatic Control at RWTH's Campus Melaten (Wednesday). All distances are dynamically walkable.
