CERT Training
CERT training includes:
Disaster preparedness: Instructs team members how to prepare themselves and their community for the various types of hazards that may occur.
Team organization and disaster psychology: Learn to work well in a team setting under stressful emergency event.
Fire safety: Covers proper techniques for preventing and extinguishing small fires.
Medical operations: Conduct triage, establish medical treatment areas, and provide basic first aid for victims.
Basic search and rescue: Learn search and rescue planning, techniques, and rescuer safety.
Terrorism Awareness: Define terrorism, terrorist goals, weapons, and indicators of a terrorist attack

1/12, 1/13, 1/14, 1/19, 1/20, 1/21 2026 - CERT Training at the BayView Driftwood Club, 6:00 - 10:00 PM. Learn basic emergency response skills in the beautiful setting of Bayview at our in-person CERT training event.
Come join us for a hands-on training event where you'll learn valuable skills to help your community in times of need. Our training will take place at our Amenity Center so make sure to mark your calendars!
During this in-person event, you'll learn about disaster preparedness, fire safety, medical operations, and more. Our experienced instructors will guide you through each step, so don't worry if you're new to CERT. Don't miss out on this opportunity to make a difference in your community! Must attend all 6 sessions. Manual will be provided.
