To help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all guests:
House-trained pups are required. Please ensure your dog is reliably house-trained before their stay.
Crate-trained pups are required. Each pup must be comfortable being safely crated when necessary.
Mild behavioral quirks are welcome and will be handled with patience, understanding, and positive reinforcement.
For the safety of all pets and people in the home, overly aggressive dogs will not be accepted.
Dogs with a known history of biting or attacking people or other animals will not be accepted.
If a pup displays unexpected aggressive behavior, attempts to attack another pet or person, or bites during their stay, their emergency contact may be contacted for immediate pickup.
All pups staying at Duval's Hound House should have their vaccinations current and up to date.
Please be prepared to provide proof of current vaccinations if requested.
Duval's Hound House is a private, home-based boarding environment, not a large commercial boarding facility.
Please be aware that I have two dogs of my own who live in the home:
One Staffy
One Dachshund
Both are friendly, well cared for, and current on their vaccinations.
I understand that every dog has a different comfort level. If your pup is not comfortable around other dogs, please let me know in advance so appropriate arrangements can be made.
Payment is required on the day of drop-off.
If payment is not received at drop-off, the boarding reservation may be cancelled.
