Our subsystems are comprised of members from the Development and Officer teams.
Led by juniors Soledad Rodriguez and Remington Stagg, the business team is responsible for acquiring funding through sponsorship and donation as well as spreading awareness for the team within the DU community through events and fundraisers.
Led by seniors Malcolm Morris-Berlin and Jackson Bolinger, the aerodynamics team is responsible for developing the body kit and the cooling systems of the car. Through the use of extensive CFD simulations, the team gathers data to optimize downforce while minimizing drag.
Led by sophomore Emmanuel Gil Gonzalez and junior Soledad Rodriguez, the chassis team is responsible for the design of the roll cage and ensuring rulebook compliance. They work as an integration team to build mounting brackets and support brackets for suspension, powertrain, and aero.
Led by junior Augustin Martinez, the suspension and braking team is responsible for the vehicle's dynamics. This team perfects our suspension geometry & brake system using the ideas of camber/toe, anti-dive/anti-squat, and brake bias to ensure a proper balance in the car.
Led by Matt Carter, the electronics and data acquisition team is responsible for wiring the harness and installing data collection sensors around the vehicle. The wiring harness acts as the car's central nervous system, where the ECU communicates with engine timing units and collects data from various sensors to be read later by the engineering team.
Led by junior Alejandro Martinez, the powertrain team controls the heart of our car. With oversight of the engine, transmission, differential, and axles, they work closely with suspension and aero to ensure the power can be applied effectively and not overheat in the process.
Our organization is led by a dedicated officer team of seven members who oversee operations and guide our overall direction.
Support the team at weekly meetings and quartey events.
