I created this for a little girl in dance who wanted to have her own special symbol, unlike other sports in which you're assisned a number that you get to take pride in, dance is all about self exspression. You don't get to claim your number, you don't just get assainged some number or symbol, you have to create it and believe in it SO HARD that everyone else starts to believe in it too. (Sounds a lot like an adult starting a business if you ask me)

Back the dance.. It is an art form and it teaches you to not only embrace yourself but to openly express yourself in a multitude of ways. It didn't take this parent saying more than, "I want something brand new for her. She doesn't get special things often if you ask me, so I want this one to be extra special." She went onto to say, "I can imagine it, it's Magnolia wreath, there's one of those monorammed letters right in the center, and a pair of ballet slippers hanging right off the wreath."

For me, she'd just described it so vividly I could have driven to Hobby Lobby right then and built it "for real". I knew exactly what she wanted. This is what I came up with. An ornamental, Mississippi Magnolia styled ornamental wreath, with a monogrammed letter K in the center for her daughter's name.

I actually did a little bonus round here and also made them some stickers!

Farming Manna Mississippi — Custom Apparel & Sticker Design Project

Overview:
Developed a cohesive line of custom sticker, T-shirt, and apparel designs for Farming Manna Mississippi, a locally rooted agricultural brand that celebrates rural identity, faith, and sustainability. The project aimed to merge Mississippi’s farming heritage with a modern, marketable aesthetic suited for local events, online retail, and community engagement.

Creative Deliverables:

Five featured apparel styles showcasing Farming Manna’s signature visual themes: organic growth, spiritual inspiration, and regional pride.
Two newly created mascot-style figures, designed to personify the brand’s mission and connect with younger audiences through friendly, memorable character design.
Custom sticker sets optimized for both print and digital merchandise—engineered with high-resolution vector formats for scalable use across apparel, signage, and promotional materials.

Design Approach:

Focused on bold color palettes and rural iconography to align with Mississippi’s cultural and agricultural story.
Ensured all graphics were production-ready for screen printing and vinyl cutting, maintaining fidelity and legibility at various scales.
Incorporated accessibility and contrast guidelines (WCAG 2.1 AA) for inclusive visibility across marketing materials.

Outcome:
The resulting collection positioned Farming Manna Mississippi as a community-first lifestyle brand, blending rural authenticity with modern visual storytelling. The designs are now being rolled out across local vendor markets, online shops, and regional outreach campaigns.
