TESTIMONIES

I felt like I got so much more out of the scriptures than if I had just read them once through. Some days God highlighted the same thing over and over, and other days he highlighted different things, things I hadn’t even noticed the days prior. I felt like at the end of the week I really got an overall message from each passage which was fun!

I read aloud Psalm 139:1-18 while walking the night before we [neighbor & friend] met and felt led to text the passage to my neighbor for encouragement. As we gathered the next day to pray, we listened to my neighbor’s story and were transitioning into a time of prayer. The woman from my church then says a passage came to mind to read to my neighbor before we prayed. What was it? You guessed it, Psalm 139:1-18!!! She read the same 18 verses! I reminded the woman how I had just texted those to her last night feeling led to share as well. My neighbor felt so loved and seen by Jesus knowing there was no way this was a coincidence!

I invited a neighbor/friend to join me in reading the week’s passage, Ephesians 3:14-21, after she shared about a traumatic event that happened on site. Upon finding Ephesians together in a new Bible app, we walked over that very site and read the passage aloud. It took 2 minutes. She thanked me for inviting her into this & then I ran home to get kids off the bus. The following week, I learned that two days after we did this, a $7,000 tip was given at that very site, for a $112 bill...a tip exceedingly & abundantly beyond wildest imagination!

I am responsible for feeding myself in this little town, but I haven’t been doing a good job of it.  I’ve
been surviving on crumbs instead of feasting on His love for me.  I feel like there’s nobody around, reaching for, or at same place as far as locking arms and digging dipper for myself...so having this long distance capability for accountability and connecting with people who understand Holy Spirit and how He works is very, very valuable for me.

The [Dive Deeper] PDF is extremely helpful and easy to follow. I believe this will help me go deeper. I enjoy the direction with the flexibility to fit into my schedule without over committing to a course or something.

I need a little push sometimes on what to do because I have the desire to be closer to God, but I don’t always take the time needed for Him. I really appreciate you thinking to invite me...

I don’t think I have ever spent so many days reading, meditating, and praying the same chapter over & over, and I’m starting to feel a shift-I was asking Holy Spirit what that shift is. In part-I think it’s that these verses are getting from my intellect to my spirit.
