Durham Book Club (DBC) isn't your typical reading program - it's a community program that's all about building leaders and connecting kids through shared stories. And best of all, DBC is led (almost) entirely by middle school students! Durham Book Club 2026 has arrived and we are here for it! DBC takes place April through July, and each month we read one book together. During the reading season, we host in-person activities, as well as small-group book discussions! Plus we meet many of the authors! Can't attend in person? No problem! We usually offer some online activities each month as well. DBC is a great way to try out new genres, talk books with peers and think about reading in a whole new way!
