Durare (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Durare – Push-Up Counter App (“the App”), an Android application designed to count push-ups in real-time using on-device face detection technology.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the App. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1.1. Information You Provide
When you sign in using your Google account, we collect and store the following user information through Firebase Authentication and Firestore:
Full name
Email address
Google account unique identifier (UID)
Profile photo URL
This information is securely stored in our Firebase Firestore database and used solely for authentication, user identification, and personalized user experience within the App.
1.2. Automatically Collected Information
When you use the App, certain information may be automatically collected, including:
App performance and usage data via Firebase Analytics
Crash and error reports via Firebase Crashlytics
Device type, operating system, and session duration
This data is collected in aggregated form and does not personally identify you. It is used to improve app stability, performance, and user experience.
The App uses your device’s front camera to detect face position for counting push-ups.
The camera feed is processed entirely on your device using Google ML Kit.
No photos, videos, or facial data are captured, stored, or transmitted over the internet.
The camera is used exclusively for real-time visual analysis to track push-up movements.
The App may send local notifications to remind you about workout sessions, rest phases, or push-up goals.
These notifications are generated and managed locally on your device.
The App does not send or receive push notifications from external servers.
We use collected information for the following purposes:
To enable Google Sign-In authentication and user management
To store and sync user data using Firebase services
To analyze app performance, crashes, and engagement
To improve functionality, user experience, and reliability
To comply with legal obligations and maintain app security
We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties.
Your data is shared only with the following trusted service provider:
Google Firebase, which provides Authentication, Firestore Database, Analytics, and Crashlytics.
All data shared with Firebase is handled under Google’s Privacy Policy and complies with industry-standard security practices.
We do not share user data with advertisers, marketing partners, or any unauthorized third parties.
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide app functionality and comply with applicable laws.
If you delete your account, your user profile and associated data will be permanently removed from our Firebase databases within a reasonable period.

Upon verification of your identity, all associated data will be deleted from Firebase Authentication and Firestore.
We implement appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
All communications with Firebase are encrypted using HTTPS and secured under Google Cloud’s infrastructure.
However, please note that no method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect or store personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately, and we will take steps to remove such data.
The App requests the following permissions for functionality:
Camera Permission: To detect face position for push-up counting (processed locally).
Internet Access: Required for Google Sign-In and Firebase synchronization.
Notification Permission: To display workout and rest reminders locally.
No additional permissions are used beyond those necessary for core functionality.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any changes will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of the App after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
