Language Arts: Students will learn to recognize and produce the beginning sounds of words.
We will practice hearing and saying the first sound in words to build early reading skills.
Children will explore beginning letter sounds through songs, games, and hands-on activities.
Students will develop phonemic awareness by identifying the beginning sounds in spoken and printed words.
Students will be introduced to ending sounds after winter break inshallah. Please continue to review letter sounds and beginning sounds thorughout the break.
Math: Chapter 5 Math Connects book. Students will also be writing numbers 40-50 daily inshallah.
Social Skills: "Stop, Think, Choose” Role-Play
Students practice simple conflict scenarios (like wanting the same toy) and learn to use words to solve the problem.
Focus: conflict resolution, self-regulation.
