Bob book reading Sign Up
Bob Book reading is in full swing, and our students are doing a fantastic job building their confidence and skills!
We are looking for volunteers to help with upcoming reading sessions. Your time and support make a tremendous difference in helping our kids grow as readers. Even a small amount of time can have a big impact.
If you’re available to help, please sign up for a reading session at your earliest convenience. We truly appreciate your continued support and involvement.

Eid Festival
We are excited to celebrate our 1st Eid Festival at DU, on Thursday, March 26. The day will include a longer assembly, in class crafts, book fair, and a student gift exchange within each class. Students will also participate in games/activities in the gym on a rotating schedule, organized by the
H.S Student Council, so that everyone has an opportunity to take part. Students involved in performances will also have their final rehearsals.
Parents will be invited to attend the student performances from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM. In addition, the PTO will host a snack sale fundraiser at dismissal. Further details will be shared in a dedicated email closer to the event.
Furqaan Bookfair
We are pleased to host the Furqaan Book Fair on Thursday, March 26 for our students and parents during the school day, and on Friday, March 27 for parents and Peoria community members.
This will be a wonderful opportunity to explore the wide selection of Islamic books and educational materials available through Furqaan Bookstore. We encourage families and community members to join us and take part in this event, as a portion of the proceeds will support the school.

Important reminders for School
P.E. Class is on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please when on P.E. Days please wear the proper gym shoes to run in, if not they will sit out for that class.
For everyday school days please no light up shoes are allowed per school policy
2026 Ramadan Schedule
The revised school hours for students will be from 7:55 AM to 2:26 PM with dismissal until 2:45PM. Student drop-off will begin at 7:30AM and continue thereafter. More detailed Ramadan Schedule is below at the bottom of the prek2 home page.

Please refrain from sending your child with the following in his or her lunch box because of allergies in the class:
Walnuts, Tree Nuts
Any other kind of nuts or products processed in a nut facility.
Students who wish to share treats must make sure the item is free from these ingredients as well as eggs.
Please schedule with class teacher before you bring any kind of treats to share.
