---------------------------------

Is the event Family Friendly?

Yes - However, guardians are to take responsibility for supervising their kids. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult whilst participating in workshops. Dupang is a dry festival (no alcohol or drugs permitted). This is to create a safe place for everyone.

Do I need to bring all my own camping equipment?

Yes -- be weather smart by planning for the conditions. Tent, pegs, tarp, mattress, sleeping bag, pillow, torch etc.

Are vehicles allowed in the camping area?

NO - There is a designated car park located within a short walking distance of the festival site (approx 100 to 200 meters away).  When you arrive a team member will assist transporting your camping equipment to the campsite for you to set up.

No vehicles are allowed in the 'tent' campsite -- Only exemptions will be considered upon request (eg: market place stall holders requiring access to their vehicle). Once the festival starts - no vehicles (other than event organisers) are allowed to move around on site.

What about camper-vans / caravans ?

There is no power on site for camper-vans / caravans to plug into! If you intent to bring camper/caravan. You will be allocated a spot on the foreshore in the carpark area. This area is away from the general public camping site but within easy walking distance of the festival - 100 to 200 mtrs.

Water is life

It is strongly recommended that you bring your own drinking water with you -- we suggest bringing a minimum of 10L for your own personal drinking water. The festival has no showers. If you are wanting to rinse off - we encourage you to bring along a solar shower (you can get one at Bunnings for $10)

Is there power access on site and mobile reception?

There is no power on site accessible to the public - bring a battery charger to recharge your phone. If you are with Telstra you will have reception on site - other providers service is less reliable. Bring some cash with you to ensure you can pay for food etc in the marketplace.

Will there be food available?

We have a few food vendors as part of the market place - including Meez on Plus catering; Taste of Paradise SA food truck. There will be BBQ and coffee cart. Check out the marketplace page for more info.

Can I BYO food and drink?

Yes - you can bring your own drinks and food. There will be a community camp kitchen available for the use of Artists, dancers and the volunteer event team only. But there will be a public wash station so everyone can clean their crockery after eating.

How do I pay for things things?

Bring cash just in case -- It is strongly recommended that you bring cash for the purchase of food from the market place. Telstra is the best for reception - other service providers are less reliable - POS and automatic transfers will be available from marketplace stall holders - the safest way is to ensure you can purchase things is to bring cash with you.

We are currently exploring a the cost of hiring a remote satellite WIFI starlink system to aid electronic payments.

Is alcohol permitted?

No -the Festival is a dry festival - no exemptions.

Can I pay for my ticket with cash on Site?

It is preferred that tickets are purchased through FringeTix webiste here.  To pay in person via cash - you will need to have pre-arranged this via emailing yarnin.pangari@gmail.com

What about accessibility?

Not the greatest - Unfortunately the site is not the best for people with accessible needs such as wheelchairs or those with mobility aids - having said that - you can still access the Coorboree site with relative ease - but will not be able to camp in the public camp areas. This is because Dupang is located on sandy ground.

There is limited accessibility camping available (Priority will be given to senior Elders)- we have reserved the Long Point camp grounds, which is close by to the festival site. This camp ground has accessibility toilets. If you have accessibility needs please reach out to Yarnin.Pangari@gmail.com

Can I bring my dog?

NO - While we are big animal lovers -- we ask that animals stay home to protect the wildlife of the Coorong. The only exemption to this is assistant dogs -- Please email yarnin.pangari@gmail.com - to request this.
