Yes - However, guardians are to take responsibility for supervising their kids. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult whilst participating in workshops - a waiver must be signed to participate in the wood carving workshop. Dupang is a dry site (no alcohol or drugs permitted). This is to create a safe place for everyone.
Yes -- be weather smart by planning for the conditions. Tent, pegs, tarp, mattress, sleeping bag, pillow, torch etc. Bring sunscreen, hat and a wind jacket. Night times can be cooler - so make sure you have clothing to keep you warm and bed socks for your sleeping bag.
There is a designated car park located within a short walking distance of the campsite (approx 100 to 200 meters away). If you want your car next to your tent - you are not permitted to move your vehicle on site for the duration of the event. This must be strictly adhered to for public insurance purposes.
What about camper-vans / caravans ?
There is no power on site for camper-vans / caravans to plug into! If you intent to bring camper/caravan. You will be allocated a spot on the foreshore in the carpark area. This area is away from the general public camping site but within easy walking distance of the festival - 100 to 200 mtrs.
Water is life
It is strongly recommended that you bring your own drinking water with you. There is a washing up station (this water is not for drinking). There are no showers on site, If you are wanting to rinse off - we encourage you to bring along a solar shower (you can get one at Bunnings for $10).
There is no power on site accessible to the public - bring a battery charger to recharge your phone. If you are with Telstra you will have patchy reception on site - other providers service is less reliable.
There will be a big BBQ camp cook up on Saturday night and a sausage sizzle on the Saturday lunch - catered by Tal-Kin-Jeri Catering - which you can purchase food from (bring cash) - we encourage you to bring your own food / snacks etc.
Yes! - you are encouraged to bring your own drinks and food. There will be a community camp kitchen available for the use of Artists, dancers and the volunteer event team. There is a public wash station so everyone can clean their crockery after eating (if the wash water needs changing - please take the initiative to help out - by making a fresh batch of washing up water for camp).

Not the greatest - Unfortunately the site is not the best for people with accessible needs such as wheelchairs or those with mobility aids - having said that - you can still access the ceremony dance site with relative ease - but will not be able to camp in the public camp areas. This is because Dupang is located on sandy ground.
There is limited accessibility camping available (Priority will be given to senior Elders)- we have reserved the Long Point camp grounds, which is close by to the festival site. This camp ground has accessibility toilets. If you have accessibility needs please reach out to Yarnin.Pangari@gmail.com
NO - While we are big animal lovers -- we ask that animals stay home to protect the wildlife of the Coorong. The only exemption to this is assistant dogs -- Please email yarnin.pangari@gmail.com to request this.
