Yes, but! If you want your car next to your tent - you are not permitted to move your vehicle once set up for the duration of the event. We request that you arrive between noon and 4pm on the Friday 20th or 9am and 10:30 (at the latest) on Saturday 21st - the path to the camping area will be bunted off for access for safety - you must drive slow with hazard lights on during this bump in window.
No - There is a designated car park located within a short walking distance of the camp site / festival site (approx 100 to 200 meters away) - if you want to be able to have access to your car across the festival to go to the local shops - you will need to set up your camp and move your car into the car park. This must be strictly adhered to for public insurance purposes.
What about camper-vans / caravans ?
If you intent to bring camper/caravan. You will be allocated a spot on the foreshore in the car park area. This area is away from the general public camping site but within easy walking distance of the festival - 100 to 200 mtrs - There is no power on site for camper-vans / caravans to plug into!
Water is life!
It is strongly recommended that you bring your own drinking water with you.
There is a washing up station (this water is not for drinking).
Is there showers?
There are no showers on site - If you are wanting to rinse off - we encourage you to bring along a solar shower (you can get one at Bunnings for $15).
There will be a wash station available for rinsing off for dancers, volunteers and performers.
There is no power on site accessible to the public - bring a battery charger to recharge your phone. If you are with Telstra you will have patchy reception on site - other providers service is less reliable.

Yes! -You are able to bring your own food / snacks etc. We especially encouraged people with special dietary requirements to BYO.
There will be a public washing up station for people to clean their crockery after eating (if the wash water needs changing - please take the initiative to help out - by making a fresh batch of washing up water for camp).
Can we have a fire next to our campsite to cook on?
No - the only place that fires are permitted are at the ceremony dance site and at the camp kitchen. If you want to cook your own food at your camp site -you are permitted to bring gas / or induction camp stove tops
Not the greatest - Unfortunately the site is not the best for people with accessible needs such as wheelchairs or those with mobility aids - having said that - you can still access the ceremony dance site with relative ease - but will not be able to camp in the public camp areas. This is because Dupang is located on sandy ground.
There is limited accessibility camping available (Priority will be given to senior Elders)- we have reserved the Long Point camp grounds, which is close by to the festival site. This camp ground has accessibility toilets. If you have accessibility needs please reach out to Yarnin.Pangari@gmail.com
NO - While we are big animal lovers -- we ask that animals stay home to protect the wildlife of the Coorong. The only exemption to this is assistant dogs -- Please email yarnin.pangari@gmail.com to request this.
The closest shops are in Meningie - approx 20 min drive from the festival site.
You will be able to vote at Dupang - thanks to the team at the South Australian Electoral Commission, a mobile polling station will be popping up on Saturday 21st March at the festival state. So if you don't get around to voting early at a pre-poll site - you will still be able to vote at the Dupang Festival Site.
It is preferred that tickets are purchased through FringeTix website. To pay in person via cash - you will need to have pre-arranged this via emailing yarnin.pangari@gmail.com
Mob, Tal-Kin-Jeri Dance group and family and volunteers do not require to purchase a ticket.
