Dungeon Crawl 94: What Was Taken is a retro-inspired dungeon-crawling RPG built around exploration, character progression, secrets, and discovery.
Choose your class. Build your character. Learn powerful magic. Find rare equipment. Explore a world filled with merchants, companions, dungeons, hidden mechanics, and dangerous enemies.
Your ultimate goal?
Find the Demon King.
Dungeon Crawl 94 combines classic grid-based RPG gameplay with a custom perspective rendering system that makes its pixel-art world appear to curve toward the horizon.
The world may be built from tiles, but it doesn't have to look flat.
Rotate your perspective, explore changing environments, destroy terrain with bombs, discover hidden paths, and figure out how the world works.
Want to know what's happening under the hood?
Choose from five starting classes and develop your character using seven different stats:
Strength • Dexterity • Intelligence • Wisdom • Speed • Constitution • Luck
Fight with weapons.
Build around magic.
Search for rare equipment.
Find animal companions.
Craft supplies.
Discover merchants.
Experiment with strange strategies.
And don't expect the game to explain every secret.
Dungeon Crawl 94 was built to reward curiosity.
Randomized elements mean one adventure doesn't necessarily play exactly like the next.
The decisions you make, the character you build, the equipment you discover, and even the things you overlook can change how your journey unfolds.
There are secrets you may never find.
There are mechanics you may not immediately understand.
And there may be solutions the developer never intended.
That's part of the game.
Dungeon Crawl 94: What Was Taken is available now for $4.99.

Dungeon Crawl 94 wasn't created by a large studio.
It was built primarily by one person over roughly six months of development, testing, experimentation, problem-solving, and a lot of late nights.
What started as an idea eventually became a finished game released on Steam, Android, and iOS.

A special thank you to my wife and kids for supporting me while I chased this dream.
Making the game was an adventure of its own.
But the journey isn't quite over yet.
