In this section, I will explain you all the features of this tool, panel by panel.
The settings panel allows you to setup the tool for your specific usage.
The Initialization category allows you to create a new grid for the dungeon. You need to select one of the DungeonInstances in the scene and then you can choose the size of the grid wich will be generated. Clicking on the Init button will generate this grid.
The Settings category regoups a bunch of settings used for the generation of the cells. Those settings can be changed at any time during the editing process. It won't clear the Dungeon (contrary to the Initialization stuff which is designed to be applied only once).
Layout settings allows you to set a list of cell Categories, cell Tags and Layers that you can later use to paint/edit the dungeon. Those settings can be modified at any time and you can also save/load those settings, which is usefull if you work one dungeons in multiple scenes.
The Save catagory allows you to save/load the Grid Data. This allows you to save the content of your dungeon and load it in another DungeonInstance.
The Other category regroups other settings which are not directly related to the painting/edit process. For now the only settings of this category is the GridTickness which allows you to change the tickness of the displayed grid.
Add tags, categories, layers so that they can appear in the drop down lists in Paint mode and Edit mode.
When you open the Paint panel, this activates the paint tool. This allows you to "paint" the cells on the grid.
You can create multi floors dungeons easily with this system.
You can use different layers to paint cells. This can be convenient to spawn multiple things inside a specific cell, or add some kinds of sub-rooms inside an existing room.
The edit section will allows you to select cells.
Then you can either modify those selected cells by clicking on "Edit selected cells", or move/copy them around by holding left-alt and dragging them with the mouse.
Maintaining left-Alt + Left-Shift will duplicate the dragged selection. If you don't hold the left-shift key, the selection will be moved.
