My name is Eric Dugan and I am running for re - election to Lynn School Committee.  My Wife Christine and I have raised our two wonderful sons in Lynn and we are proud to call this great city our home.  My two sons have been educated in the Lynn Public Schools.  They loved their schools and along the way have made many friends in the Lynn Public Schools.  They both graduated from Lynn Classical and are doing very well.

I have been an educator for 23 years.  Currently I am a third grade teacher in the Danvers Public Schools.  I was also a member of the Danvers Teachers Association executive board.  With my help over the twelve years I was involved, the Danvers teachers enjoyed the security of 4 three year contracts.  I learned how to bargain a deal, compromise and hold strong to my beliefs. 

I have also volunteered in many capacities in our city.  Both of my sons enjoy sports and I have coached and helped to promote many of the youth sports organizations around the city.  This list includes Lynn Youth Soccer, St. Pius CYO, East Lynn Little League and Wyoma Little League.  During my time at Wyoma Little League I served on the board with many amazing volunteers.  As a member of the board, I was fortunate enough to help in many capacities including league president.  I believe that all of these experiences make me an extremely qualified candidate for re-election.  As a proud educator and community leader, I feel that I will continue to bring an important perspective to the committee.
