Make sure your vendors are ready to accept Double Up Food Bucks and Produce Match (if applicable). It's the market's responsibility to make sure vendors understand and follow program rules.
FMF has two letter templates that you can customize to your market and share with vendors. Share these with both eligible and ineligible vendors so they know what to expect.
All eligible vendors will also need to sign a vendor agreement form that acknowledges they understand and agree to the rules of the program. There is one form that works for both DUFB and Produce Match. Vendor agreement forms need to be on file before a vendor can be reimbursed. Reimbursements made without a vendor agreement on file first are considered ineligible for Double Up Food Bucks. Keep track of who has filled out their forms with a paper tracking sheet in your market binder!
