You MUST include the following information on your written app

  • Please note you CAN join with a kitten, but this means you will be using your 1 kitten slot until this character ages out of being a kitten!

• ALLEGIANCE DESCRIPTION (1 sentence)

• BRIEF HISTORY ( 5 sentences/1 para minimum)

  • While it only needs to be brief, we do ask that you include how your character feels about current events to some capacity within it. If you are unsure of what is going on currently, we ask you reference the clan histories  prior to writing it.

• PERSONALITY (3 min character traits; 1 positive, 1 neutral, 1 negative)

• STATS (check the stat spread for your character's age in the dice system!)

For naming inspiration, we recommend using inaturalist!  We also have a generator if you'd like! You can access it here.

• • PLEASE be sure to double check that your name choice is not already taken by checking with the allegiance button above!

  • The use of Sun- as a prefix is forbidden in Arch only, and the use of Moon- as a prefix is forbidden in Grotto only. 

  • Star is allowed as a prefix, and most names will be tolerated as long as they make sense within reason;

    • • • Kittypets and loners can be named more human-based words, but you most certainly can't have a clan-born cat be named Clockwhistle
          
          

Abusive histories MUST be marked with a TW accordingly. NO BIGOTRY IN HISTORIES IS TOLERATED. They're fictional cats, not homophobes or transphobes.

You may use whatever template you'd like- CARRD, Toyhouse profiles, or google docs. You MUST link it with your character visual app submission. KEEP YOUR FONT LEGIBLE.

Realistic pelt colors aren't mandatory- but be reasonable about how exaggerated certain saturated tones are. A cat can be described as gray and have purple hues, just don't make them neon purple.

Keep character art unshaded, please!

Character art can be drawn by you or by someone else as long as you have PERMISSION. Do not use someone's art without asking for approval. If you're having trouble acquiring character art, feel free to ask in the server- a mod or any other willing member can help.

Accessories can be anything within reason- there is definitely garbage left by the side of the thunderpath for cats to use as accessories, but that doesn't mean your cat can show up wearing a Gucci harness (unless they're of kittypet or loner history!)

Feathers are NOT allowed to be used behind the ear. They may be placed BELOW the head anywhere.

Eye colors don't need to be realistic. Ocular albinism is allowed and will not be a limited trait. Colored scleras are allowed as well.

Exotic breeds will be approved on a case-by-case basis.

Odd traits/Mutations are only allowed for Grottoclan cats. This includes things like multiple sets of ears, eyes with two pupils, janus cats, etc.

• • • Bare in mind that younger cats will be more prone to developing these mutations as compared to older cats.
