J. Da Storm

Singer, songwriter, creative, educator, community leader 

I am a Louisville, KY born and Greensboro, NC bred artist with a passion and love for music. I began her songwriting career at the tender age of 12 when I attended a performing arts middle school where I was a member of the gospel choir and minored in chorus. During high school and college, I was a member of the marching band playing both the tenor saxophone and trombone. After some time away from the music scene, I kicked off her musical career by performing at the bi-annual Pasos Con in Dallas, TX with my first single “Fantasy”.  Since then, I have performed at several open mics and festivals in the Triad including the Strange Fruit Festival and the ACE Spirit Week Festival. I even had the opportunity to host my own concert to celebrate my birthday and fundraise for my upcoming EP. In her meantime, I am dedicated to the arts and supports other local artists and initiatives in the area to keep the arts alive and well. I am currently working on her debut E.P. set to be released in 2024.
