Welcome! I am a PhD candidate in the Institute for Work and Employment Research at MIT Sloan School of Management.
My research investigates how organizational human resource management policies operate within different institutional contexts. My work illustrates the challenges facing the disadvantaged workers and investigates how innovative human resources policies and initiatives affect both workers’ experiences and their capacities to exercise voice and pursue their goals at work.
I received my bachelor's degree in Economics and master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. I will be an Assistant Professor in the Department of Labor Relations, Law, and History at Cornell University ILR School starting summer 2020.
