Duanyi Yang

Welcome! I am a PhD candidate at MIT Institute for Work and Employment Research. My advisers are Thomas Kochan and Erin Kelly.

My work aims to rethink how organizational policies, worker voice institutions, and private and public regulations shape labor standards and worker well-being. My research covers topics on comparative employment relations, worker grievances and voice, labor standards in global value chains, and working time arrangements in organizations.

I received my bachelor's degree in Economics and master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
