Privacy Policy — Dual Camera Video Front & Back

Last updated: August 28, 2026

Dual Camera Video Front & Back ("the App") is developed by Somia Elkhoussi.

This policy explains how the App handles your information.

1. Data We Do Not Collect

The App does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or

browsing history. There is no account, no registration, and no sign-in.

2. Your Recordings and Photos

All recording and compositing happens entirely on your device. Your videos,

your photos, the audio recorded with them, and anything you type into the

teleprompter are never uploaded to any server and never leave your phone.

There is no server that holds your content, because there is no such server.

3. Camera and Microphone

The App asks for camera access to record your front and back cameras together,

and for microphone access to record sound with the video. Without the camera it

cannot record at all; without the microphone your recordings are silent. Neither

permission sends anything off your device.

4. Photo Library Access

The App asks for permission to save finished recordings and photos to your photo

library, and to read it so the in-app gallery can show you what you have made

without switching to Photos. Recordings are also gathered into an album named

"Dual Camera" so they are easy to find.

If you decline, the App does not discard your recordings. It keeps them in its

own storage on your device and shows them in the in-app gallery instead, and

says so on that screen. Files kept that way are removed when you delete the App,

and you can delete them individually by pressing and holding an item in the

gallery.

5. Location

Location is optional and off by default. If you switch on "Save Location in

File", your coordinates are written into the video or photo file itself, on your

device, so Photos can place it on a map. That data goes into your file and

nowhere else. It is never sent to the developer.

6. Analytics

The App uses Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand

which features are used and whether the App is failing on some devices. It

collects a random identifier for the App on your device, named actions such as

"a recording started" or "a layout was chosen", and standard device information

such as device model, iOS version, app version, language and country.

No event describes the content of what you filmed, photographed or typed. The

identifier is not your name or your Apple ID, and it goes away when you delete

the App.

Firebase Analytics does not collect your device advertising identifier (IDFA),

and the App does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. No data is

shared with third parties for advertising or tracking purposes.

For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy:

https://policies.google.com/privacy

7. Subscriptions and Purchases

The App uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases. RevenueCat processes your

purchase history — subscription status and transaction receipts — so the App

knows whether your purchase is active. Payment is handled entirely by Apple. No

payment details, such as card numbers, are collected or stored by the App, the

developer, or RevenueCat.

For more information, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy:

https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

8. Advertising

The App contains no advertising and no advertising SDK.

The App is advertised elsewhere, including on Google Ads. Measuring which

campaigns bring people to the App is done through Apple's SKAdNetwork, which

reports installs in aggregate and is designed by Apple so that no individual can

be identified in it.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data

from anyone, including children under 13.

10. Your Choices

To stop all collection, delete the App; Firebase and RevenueCat receive nothing

further. Camera, microphone, photo library and location permissions can be

granted or revoked at any time in iOS Settings, under Privacy & Security.

11. Changes to This Policy

If the App adds features that change how data is handled, this policy will be

updated and the "Last updated" date will change.
