First Time Accessing Our Teams
Reminder: This Process Is Much Easier On A Computer (desktop, laptop, Chromebook, etc.)
Check the personal email that you had given us for a Microsoft Teams Link from "Guyer Tutors" (If this link has not been received please contact us)
This link will give you one of 2 prompts. It may either ask you to create a Microsoft Account using your personal email, if so proceed to step 2a, or it may ask you to login to your Microsoft Account, if so proceed to step 2b.
a. Create a Microsoft Account using your personal email by following their prompts
b. Sign in to your Microsoft Account and follow any prompts given
Click "Accept" on the Reviewing Permissions Prompt and it should allow you to open Microsoft Teams
If you already have Microsoft Teams downloaded proceed to step 4a, if not you can click either the "Download the Windows app" or "Use the web app instead" options that are given
a. Before proceeding, make sure that you are logged out of any other accounts on the Microsoft Teams App
Go back to the page and allow for Microsoft Teams to be opened
Once Microsoft Teams has been launched, it will ask you to sign in with the email and password you had used/created in step 2
Once signed in, you will be presented with a drop down menu. Make sure it is set to "dtxtutoring" and click continue
Congratulations! You have successfully joined our Teams on which our tutoring sessions will be held
Click "Join" in the General tab to join your tutoring session.
