Studies the economic circumstances and the contributions of economic analysis for the billions of people who live in the developing world. Students learn to write Policy Briefs as part of the assessment. Format: in-person. Textbook required: Economics of Development (7th edition) by Perkins, Radelet, Lindauer, and Block . Econ 103 Microeconomics Principles, California State University Chico, USA

The stepping stone for the study of economics. Uses the basic principles of microeconomics to lay the foundation of individual behavior, market analysis, and production decisions. Promotes experiential learning through experiments. Newest additions: Externalities and living in the era of Covid19 Pandemic, Welfare state and economic recovery post pandemic.
