A: Online classes with DTCCC combine the flexibility of online web based lessons with the individualized attention of personal instruction. Each session has a series of lessons that you can watch and try at home before joining a live virtual class with your instructor. This gives you the opportunity to learn and practice at your own pace before getting help and coaching from a qualified and certified dog trainer.
A: Our hybrid classes offer all the benefits of our online classes (flexibility, web-based lessons, and individualized coaching) plus an in-person group session to practice your skills in the more challenging environment of our training center.
A: Current and upcoming classes and descriptions are listed on DTCCC Online! If a class sounds like a good fit for you and your dog, click Register to enroll in the class. You can also email our online registrar (dtccconline@gmail.com) if you have any questions.

A: Online manners and advanced classes are are $85 each for non-members and non-training members. Online manners classes are $65 each and advanced classes are $45 each for training members,.
Hybrid classes are $110 each for non-members and non-training members and $85 each for training members.
A: The reason for the prerequisites is to make sure that class attendees in the more advanced classes have an understanding of and working familiarity with the positive reinforcement training methods used in all DTCCC Online classes. If you already are familiar with these methods and your dog can do all the behaviors described in the prerequisite classes you can sign up for classes without the prerequisites. However, on your application please be sure to complete the question about prior training:
Have you ever trained a dog before?
Yes No
If so, where did you train?
A: Online sessions are not direct replacements for in-person classes.
Students and dogs who wish to enroll in a level 2 or higher in-person class after completing an online class are required to complete an in-person skills assessment to help ensure you and your dog can be successful when working in our training center. Assessments are $30 and scheduled through our registrar (assessments@dtccc.org).
Students and dogs who successfully complete a hybrid class are exempt from the in-person skills assessment.
