The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region V Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Legazpi, in partnership with the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), recently conducted a livelihood payout for local barangay associations at the CSWDO, Legazpi City.
Joining the activity was Mayor Hisham Ismail, who extended his heartfelt appreciation to the DSWD-SLP Legazpi team, led by Eloisa Y. Daen, and the CSWDO, headed by Ma’am Cecil Arcilla, for their unwavering support in empowering community-based projects and improving the lives of residents.
The payout benefitted the following barangay associations, providing them with the financial resources to strengthen and expand their livelihood initiatives:
Brgy. Bonga Association – ₱160,000.00
Brgy. Homapon Association – ₱260,000.00
Brgy. Mariawa Association – ₱120,000.00
Brgy. Maslog Association – ₱220,000.00
Brgy. 28 Victory Village Association – ₱140,000.00
Brgy. San Francisco Association – ₱260,000.00
Brgy. Banquerohan Association – ₱120,000.00
Through initiatives like this, DSWD Region V continues to empower communities, foster sustainable livelihoods, and promote inclusive growth, ensuring that every barangay association has the tools and support needed to thrive.
