Critical Race Theory is a sociological theory created by Derrek Bell in 1979 that explains how race is a social construct that has been an underlying factor in creating laws & systems that maintain a social hierarchy.
Critical Race Theory is a sociological theory created by Derrek Bell in 1979 that explains how race is a social construct that has been an underlying factor in creating laws & systems that maintain a social hierarchy.
It defines Racism as more than just people hating people, but the deep-seated system of beliefs that hold White Dominant Culture as the image of success. This idea is so ingrained into our society that it is impossible to delineate them without intentional thought and critical thinking.
