Pmod Ports, otherwise known as a Pmod Interface, are an open standard defined by Digilink inc. for use in FPGA and micro-controller boards.
These ports normally come in a standard 6-Pin interface with 4 signals, one ground and one power pin.
The male connectors on the board are commonly referred to as " Pmod Connectors" while their female counterparts are known as "Pmod host ports".
In common use of Pmod Ports there are 3 main ways to connect them to a host board.
P mod pins also have a general convention they follow.
