The DSAIL2022 Organizers

Dr. Soma Paul: Senior Research Scientist, IIIT Hyderabad, soma@iiit.ac.in. Soma has been working in the area of Computational Linguistics and Semantics for the last 15 years. She is involved currently in developing language independent Universal Semantic Representation for multilingual generation of discourse.

Dr. Debopam Das: Postdoc, Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany, dasdebop@hu-berlin.de. Debopam obtained his PhD in linguistics at Simon Fraser University, Canada. He primarily works on topics in discourse analysis, corpus linguistics and lexicography. Debopam contributed to developing linguistic resources such as the RST Signalling Corpus (Das et al., 2015) and lexicons of discourse connectives (Das et al., 2018, 2020).

Dr. Bidisha Bhattacharjee, S.V. Hymavathi and Isma Anwar will play the role of facilitators during the hands-on session of discourse annotation.
