Our Vision

The goal of DS-WA MGOCSM Missions is to have students spread the work and light of Christ to a community in need, in a sustainable way: one where the community has access to resources/Orthodoxy even after we leave. Missions involve aspects of both evangelism and service. At the end of our trip, our students will have engaged meaningfully in the work of Christ by participating in the three pillars of MGOCSM: Worship, Study, and Service. Upon returning home, we hope the experience has given the students the perspective needed to prioritize being a light of Christ in the world, as well as have the tools and perspective needed to engage in missions work in their local communities.
