Additional Swim Meet Request

1.      The swim meet schedule will be selected by the coaching staff based on:

a.      availability of coaching staff

b.      ability to offer to all of the swimmers in the program

c.       do their best to be able to offer two qualifying meets per swim season

2.      In the event that a regional meet is hosted the same weekend as an out of province meet, the regional meet will take precedence

3.      In the event that there is a swim meet of interest that is not part of the pre-selected schedule, swimmer and parents/guardians are to submit requests visa email to: drydendolphins@gmail.com

a.      Requests via texting will not be accepted

b.      Requests must be no less than 45 days in advance of the meet to receive proper consideration

4.      Decision making will be prioritized in the following fashion:

a.      Is there qualifying times

                                                              i.      If no, coaching staff will assess coaching availability

                                                             ii.      If no availability, request will be denied

                                                           iii.      If available coach, all swimmers must be given opportunity to register

1.      If 5 registrations or less, request denied

2.      If 6 or more registrations, request granted

b.      If yes to qualifying times, do 3 or more swimmer have existing qualifying times

                                                              i.      If yes, is there a coach available

1.      If yes, request granted

2.      If no, request denied

                                                             ii.      If no (fewer than 3 swimmers qualify), is there coaching availability

1.      If yes, request granted

2.      If no, is there a regional team attending that would be willing to host a Dolphins swimmer

a.      If yes, request granted. Coaching staff will make all necessary arrangements regarding coaching

                                                                                                                                      i.      Parents are not permitted to contact coach receiving swimmer to make the request, this is solely arranged by our own coaching staff

b.      If no, request denied

5.      All inquiries regarding coaching are to be sent to drydendolphins@gmail.com, parents are not permitted to text coaches directly.  The request will be directed to the coaching staff to respond accordingly.

6.      Parents are only permitted to request one extra meet per season.

7.      Parents are not permitted to enter the pool deck area, unless authorized.
