Writing books has been an important part of my academic and intellectual journey. My work as an author reflects my long-standing interest in language, literature, culture, communication, identity, and intercultural dialogue.
My first academic book, L’Ombra del Potere: George Orwell e Ismail Kadare / The Shadow of Power: George Orwell and Ismail Kadare, was published in Rome by Aracne Editrice. The book grew from my undergraduate thesis in English Language and Literature at Sapienza University of Rome and explored the relationship between literature, power, political discourse, and cultural identity.
I later published Gli Italianismi nell’Albanese Contemporaneo / Italianisms in the Modern Albanian Language, also with Aracne Editrice in Rome. This work is connected to my doctoral research in linguistics and examines the influence of Italian on modern Albanian, reflecting my broader academic interest in language contact, cultural exchange, migration, and multilingual identity.
