In this case study, I used Fitbit smart device daily activity data of 35 participants across different parameters to evaluate their activities,determine the trends and theorise what was causing them. I was then able to develop an action plan based on those findings to help bella beat marketing team to target the potential women customers to use bella beat health products.

Therefore, the main purpose of this case study is to understand the customer usage of smart devices inorder to unveil the growth opportunities of BellaBeat's product line
Problem
The major problem is to identify the active usage of smart devices by the customers
Solution
FitBit dataset which is available in kaggle is used to identify the active usage of smart devices by the customers. The data is cleansed and various trends are determined from the dataset . Though there are many CSV files and even two diffeent version of data collected . In this case study I have used the following two CSV files from Fitabase Data 3.12.16-4.11.16 only
Fitbit data (https://www.kaggle.com/datasets/arashnic/fitbit)
a. Daily Activity Dataset contains observations pertaining to 35 unique participants and in total 457 rows and 15 columns
b. HourlyCalories Dataset contains 24,084 rows and 3 columns out of which there are only 34 unique participants
Conclusion
The Fitbit data analysis presented here as a R markdown file highlights the step by step process that was carried out with the necessary comments to highlight the cleaning , trend analysis and findings which are the key takeaways from this case study
Next steps
Nowadays, people have become more health concious and the trends derived from teh FitBit data almost highlights that 34 participants are active alteast during some hours of the day and burning the calories through active minutes. Hence, its highly recommended for the Bella beat marketing team to leverage their smart devices not only for women but also for men. Even,men must be aware of the women health related issues and extend their support to the women in their respective family.
