Dr. Ut V. Le achieved a 5.0/5.0 doctoral GPA in his doctoral program and a full score 5.0/5.0 for his doctoral thesis defense at the University of Oulu, Finland, and completed his post-doctoral program at both the University of Oulu and Pierre & Marie Curie University, France. His doctoral and post-doctoral programs were fully funded by the Academy of Finland, the Emil Aaltonen Foundation and the Magnus Ehrnrooth Foundation.
After completing his post-doctoral program, Dr. Le returned to Vietnam and worked as a researcher at the Institute of Computational Science and Technology in Ho Chi Minh City. Over the next 10 years, Dr. Le was a member of Ton Duc Thang University in Ho Chi Minh City, serving in various positions. His main roles in 10 years were Director of Research Administration and Director of Research Foundation of the University. In addition, he was Researcher, Assistant to the Senior Advisor, Head of the English Website, Member of the Education Research Group, Coordinator for University Rankings, Coordinator for International Accreditation for the University, Coordinator for Foreign Lecturers/Researchers/Experts Recruitment, Managing Editor of Journal of Information and Telecommunication (WoS/Scopus), Head of Informetrics Research Group, and Member and Secretary of the University Board.
After that, Dr. Le spent 4 years at Van Lang University in Ho Chi Minh City at the invitation of the Chair of the University Council. His primary role was Assistant to the Chair of the University Council for research affairs, while concurrently holding several positions, including Chair of the Research Ethics Committee, Chair of the Research Integrity Council, Head of the Office of Research Compliance, and Head of the Research Group of Scientometrics and Research Administration Policies (SARAP).
Currently, Dr. Le serves at Hoa Sen University in Ho Chi Minh City, where he oversees research, university rankings and academic internationalization, having joined the university at the invitation of the Chairman and the President.
In the fields of scientometrics, research administration policies and university rankings (SARAP), Dr. Le is the author of 48 strategy research results; most of which have been transferred into the following new products:
