I am an assistant professor at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in the Department of Business and Management Science and part of the Norwegian Centre for Taxation (NoCeT). I am also a junior research associate at ZEW – Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research and a research fellow at Skatteforsk - Norwegian Centre for Tax Research.
My research examines how tax policy shapes firm behavior and economic outcomes. I focus in particular on tax loss offset rules and their effects on innovation and corporate investment. More recently, I have started studying inheritance taxation, wealth, and redistribution. My work relies primarily on empirical archival methods.
I received my Ph.D. in Taxation from the University of Mannheim in 2022 (summa cum laude). Before joining NHH, I worked at ZEW Mannheim in the research unit "Corporate Taxation and Public Finance" and was a Postdoctoral researcher at DIW Berlin in the Public Economics Department.
