Despite facing a life altering spinal cord injury in 2018, Dr. Sujith's unwavering determination led him to become India's first paraplegic urologist - proving that resilence and passion can overcome any challenge. He continues to perform surgeries and provide exceptional patient care, setting a new benchmark for inclusivity in surgical practice.

Journey of Resilence & Excellence

In 2018, while pursing his dream of becoming a urologist, Dr.Sujith faced a devastating setback - a spinal cord injury from a fall left him paraplegic. However, his passion for surgery and patient care never wavered. He resumed his MCh Urology residency at Government Medical College, Kozhikode, making history as the first surgeon in india to complete a surgical residency in wheelchair.

Determined to regain his surgical independence, he imported a standing wheelchair, allowing him to perform complex surgeires despite mobility challenges. Over time, he pioneered adaptive surgical techniques, inspiring other doctors with disabilities to embrace innovative solutions in the medical field.

After completing his urological training, he pursued the prestigious Society International Urology (SUI) Fellowship in Functional & Female Urology at CES University, Medellin, Colombia, South America under the mentorship of Prof. Juan Carlos Castaño.
