We mostly focus on the energy storage device from big devices to small micro-devices. We try to develop novel structures and strategies to develop new materials that have applications in a vast field of energy storage and conversion. One such technology we focus on considering the limitation of Li storage is the sodium-based supercapacitor. Along with that we also study the growth of hollow metal-based oxide and porous structures. As the application depends on the real-life performance of the device, along with the experimental study we also try to understand the non-ambient performance of such devices and theoretical understanding behind mechanisms followed by such devices. We also work on the electrochemical sensing and catalysis of hazardous materials.
