Introduction to Dr. BIswas

Dr. Biswas is currently working as a Kreitman Post Doctoral Fellow in Jelinek Laboratory at the Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. He has started his higher studies in Kolkata, India. He earned his B.Sc. in Physics from Vivekananda College, Thakurpukur affiliated with the University of Calcutta. He completed his master's in physics from Presidency University, Kolkata. He earned his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur under the supervision of Prof. Amreesh Chandra. He has worked extensively on synthesis and processing of novel materials for energy applications for more than six years in Prof. Chandra's lab. In particular, he has been recently involved in developing large printed electrodes for supercapacitor applications. He is also well trained in the fabrication and development of energy storage devices, catalysis of hazardous elements from contaminated water, gas/vapour sensors, electrochemical sensors and LAMMPS simulations. He is currently aimed at developing new flexible and high-power Micro-supercapacitor, and energy storage devices in general. He is devoted to having a true impact on the development of new energy storage modalities to achieve goals of alternative energy usage and sustainability.
